Cybersecurity is primarily focused on protecting devices and systems from malicious attacks by hackers, spammers, and cybercriminal and mitigate any security breach that can lead to expose Confidential and sensitive data.

Types of  cyber-attacks :

1-1 Phishing/Scam Emails

The attacker uses social engineering and manipulates victims to perform tasks and pretend to be someone they are not.

Here are some types of Scam / Phishing emails.

1-1-2 The fake invoice scam

1-1-3 Executive Whaling

Scammer tries to pretend to be a CEO and ask you to reply to them usually they make it as urgent. You might quickly look up the email address before carrying out the instruction.

1-1- 4 Email account upgrade scam

a fake email  with account expire link unless immediate action is taken, the email account upgrade scam can appear to come from trusted email providers like Microsoft and Google, or simply from your company’s IT department.

 

1-2 Malware

Scammer trying to send an attachment with malware and All it takes to install malicious software on a computer or company network is clicking an email attachment. 

1-3 Session hijacking

A session hijacking attack happens when an attacker takes over a conversion between you and the vendor and starts inquiring credit card balance, payment status.

1-4 Password Attack

A password attack is simply when a hacker keep trying  to steal your password , and try multiple password attempt . and start guessing the password so it is important to:

*Implement strong password. password should be at least 12 characters long/ Uppercase letters , numbers , and special character @#$%^&*

* Dot use common password

*Use different password for different accounts

*Don’t use simple short password
